I did eat my share of not so good food, so I was a bit worried, but in the end, I prevailed!
I did do some things before hand to make sure I could indulge and still eat more then usual.I did another 3-day Shakeology cleanse. Since it was so close to my last one (only 5 weeks different) I did not lose any weight from it. What you have to realize is that I lost 6 pounds during the first one, then gained one back, kept 5 off and then in a few weeks lost 3 more pounds. So the second cleanse really did not make sense to lose more as I did them pretty close together.
It was the fact that it helped my stomach shrink and even though I ate food I usually don’t I did eat less then I would have without the cleanse.
I still drank a shake a day and when we were in the car I opted for a shake as a snack instead of the convenient store and fast food snacks. We also drove separate from the other family car that went and that way it was even easier to be able to say no to the fast food stopping.
I took the dog for a few walks, and the kids. It was pretty near impossible to keep up with my Turbo Fire so I had to depend on other forms of working out.
My cousin did invite me to her Zumba class and it was WAY Fun! See how cute we are (the middle one is the teacher)
I ate potatoes, roast beef, gravy, homemade cheese sauce and a couple pieces of pie and some chips. Not that I would do this often but I will on Holidays!
It is hard to stay on track but I knew that my preparation would help, and it did.
It is so easy to come home and stay off track and I did not let myself do that either. I got back on my Turbo Fire workouts and it was harder today then normal but I did it. I felt good all day afterwards too. I did it early so I could feel good all day. Back to my shakeology for lunch and back to the grind!
It is nice to take a break as along as you keep it a short break and don’t let it take over.
